Hi, Michelle, we wish you good luck with your new 'van do as everyone says, take it easy at first, not only driving, but also on setting up etc. Our first trip in our caravan, many years ago, I could,nt unhitch the van from the car - had reversed onto the pitch, and the overrun was still compressed, was too embarrassed to ask where I was going wrong, til a kindly fellow suggested that I drove forward a couple of inches to take the strain off the hitch! Ask for help/advice, its better than getting all hot & bothered!
