Well our new Elddis Super Cyclone is on our drive after collecting it from dealer this afternoon,

 The part l always dread is the wheel clamps with a twin axle, with the Elddis it was dream a lot easier than our Bailey Unicorn Barcelona, With Elddis came a bottle jack with Bailey (AL-KO) a scissor jack more than hopeless always had to use trolley jack, with Elddis wheel clamps jacked up van turned wheels inserted clamp and locked it. With Bailey AL-KO system insert bolt through clamp and wheel than tighten up  with wheel brace than lock it with key this after struggling with a scissor jack. With Elddis system jacked van clamps on no more than 3 to 4 mins made up.

l think the  build quality of Elddis Super Cyclone over Bailey Unicorn is 100% better . We bought the Bailey Unicorn less than 18 months ago brand new, within a month l knew we  bought the wrong van, had 4 blinds replaced concertina type. skylight leaked replaced, micro wave cooker blew replaced, door would not lock properly that was replaced with new door and frame. The exterior of Bailey Unicorn looks cheap and nasty compared to previous Bailey vans (had a Bailey Senator some years ago) for instance the awning skirt rail is made of plastic, awning rail bends 90 degrees at rear found it difficult pulling awning round bend. Even wheel arches are very flimsy, the Bailey Unicorn does have some good points if l can think of them. This is my opinion and the will be owners who love their Bailey Unicorn  and have had no trouble at all. 

  l think at the time my heart ruled my head over buying the Bailey Unicorn Barcelona, but this time myself and the wife, after many trips and hours looking at different makes and models of vans and research on internet including this site, we are now proud owners of a new Elddis Super Cyclone ...
