Big Roy, is that on a saturday in August (school holidays). Last time i tried it(saturday in august) it took longer and that was without the caravan. Loads of information on getting there, not much about what people do on return journey regarding set off times, best for traffic etc...
------------- I went to the top of the mountain...and looked over the other side!
I use to do a lot of work down in zider country, I always made sure I was off M6 and on my way down M5 before 07-30hrs (Bham was a killer) that was when M5 was two lanes and waggons could do 90mph ungoverned did not improve when 3 lanes I very rarely had trouble at Bristol unless roadworks or some thing big on in that area.
When homeward bound I use to use M50 and A49 to M69 to M6 bypassing Brum altogether took a bit longer but usually kept going and in end was quicker no traffic jams. from new forest I made my way to A34 and straight up to Brum and usedM42 to A5 to M6

Guess what i'm saying is…towing a caravan...
presuming people set off travelling to Cornwall on a friday evening, arriving some time on saturday, do you make the return journey the same way and if so, what are the procedures for leaving your pitch. I would assume that setting off home to West Yorkshire from Cornwall on a saturday morning in August and trying to do it, in one journey, would be an all round nightmare.
