Issym, Please remember that all accessories add to you weight and allowable payload. With our first car for towing our van the car was not quite heavy enough (kerbweight) for the van at max (1300kgs), so travelled much lighter at 1200 - 1250 kgs depending on the trip, 1250 kgs was the 85% of the cars kerbweight. This made us be more aware of loading. We take whats needed for the trip, and don't bother with the personnel touch so much. If anything the fun is finding things that don't weight too much. Apart from pots and pans and basic living essentials we have extra
4 commando chairs
1 recliner
1 folding table
1 sun umbrella
1 folding cupboard
12 - 16 square floor mats (A must Aldi normally just before the season starts) depending on awning.
3mx3m breathable ground sheet
2x cheap shower curtains (go under mats when ground is very wet only hard standing)
1 4m flag pole and flags/wind chimes.
1 3.5m tv ariel
1x 8m rope light led's (ideal for lighting sides of pitch).
hope this helps, Caravanning is whole new shopping experience, you will be amazed how heavy things are though.
p.s. even with two mountain bikes on board we are still below the 1300kgs max weight for the van.
