We covered up our caravan for winter and just wondered when we should take the cover off.

Our van is still under its cover, I will take the cover off on Wednesday, (weather permitting) as we are away on Friday, and have to ready the van.

ours is still under cover will wait till after easter unless the weather improves a lot ,should only take a day to prepare for the off after that

Not bothered to take mine off either now that it seems to have reverted back to winter. Plenty time for the weather to improve again and have already taken the opportunity to give it it a good 'airing' when we had that little bit of spring weather.

Ok, thanks for all the replies. I was just worried about letting warmer air in (or a warmer day) and then locking it all up again. I think I'll wait a while longer then.

Never mind getting the cover off, get it out and used now! And, once the cover is off, just look for dull spots down the sides. We had a Protec on ours last year, and it looked like someone had been at it with a buffer in places. It had worn the gloss off here there and everywhere. Never again for a cover.

Its no surprise that that Protec absolve themselves of any liability unless you have made sure the cover doesnt move or flap in any way - which is nigh on impossible in a decent wind. Hence 'blotching' occurs.

I usually take mine off in May and get it ready for our caravanning season in June/July.

One thing with a cover we never have to wash all the dirt build up from the winter, its great!

Havent noticed any blotching from our previous covers, then again, they werent Pro Tec.
