Hi all, Hope the extreme winter weather hasn't dampened anyone's enthusiasm!
I currently use a calor lite gas bottle for my caravan but I wanted a spare as we are going touring in France. A friend at work brought me a gas cylinder in that he no longer wanted. The only trouble is that it is a yellow 'FLOGAS' 13KG cylinder.
There seem to be quite a few stockists on-line but not sure about my area. However, does anyone else use these? Does anyone know if the stockists will take these in exchange for a calor lite? It may be okay but it's just that I've only ever heard of Calor and Camping gaz before.
As always, any info would be gratefully received.

Calor and Camping gaz won`t touch a FLOGAS cylinder.

You can only swap it for another FLOGAS cylinder.

There is no chance of a dealer exchanging it for a Calor Lite but they should do for a 6kg Flowgas. Their website lists all their distributors and there are a lot but not all carry all sizes of bottle.

Flowgas tends to be cheaper than Calor and I use the large bottles from them and the 6kg Lite from Calor.

There's a list of stockists linked from here, but no addresses! (other than county), but you might get an idea of location from the phone numbers, and check if they stock the size you want?

you might need different type regulators depending on age of caravan and type of fitting
