We have a pyramid awning - the type with a plastic coated roof. Over easter it got covered with bird poo which has set like glue. I dont want to risk damaging the surface, so can anyone recommend a safe way of cleaning it off?

A wet sponge left on top of the deposit will soften it after a few mins & it will then wash off.

first thing dont not use any soap it will damage your waterproofing.buy an awning cleaner and reproofer as this is the only way apart from just cold water.see
