The logic 19in that we use from currys definately runs on 12v . we run ours on 12v all the time even if we have electric hook up to free up the 240v to charge phone etc .Hope ths helps

I don't suppose you have the model number do you? (or maybe it's the one that doesn't have a built in DVD player?)

Hi all, thanks for the help.

Have since decided to go for a Kogan 19" without the DVD player - the Kogan can play movies from USB so have decided to go down that route.

Not bad for £89. I hope...

I bought the Kogan 19in last night. Mine was only £79 on offer. Seems a great price.

That's it then. Thought it was a little strange yours bein gmore expensive. I took a punt at it being reliable after all he good reports so passed on the warranty but must admit it is a bargain for peace of mind.
