Good morning!!

I have been very busy researching caravanning in preparation of our new ventures!

I was wondering if anybody has some kind of ticklist they used when first starting out. We, or rather I, am rather worried that I am not going to remember something and do something sily like drive off with the gas still connected, steadies still in place etc etc!

There seems to be so much to remember at the moment. The chap we are buying from is going to do a complete handover of what to do but I am worried I am not going to remember it all!!

One other question - the caravan currently has a pull out Fiamma awning which is like a sunshade. We will be looking at buying a full awning and would appreciate advice on one that is quick to assemble as I don't want to feel as though I am going back to a tent and taking hours to pop it up!! Our caravan's awning length is 999cm. Are there any out there that are quick erect please? I seem to be feeling daunted by the amount of awnings on offer too!

Don't know if there is such a thing as a quick-erect full awning, but perhaps this could be used in conjunction with your canopy?

I fit the awning through the channel from the front to the back, then fit the middle pole first and the rest always seems very easy, hope this helps.
