I've seen the list before and I am sceptical about some Id the figures. 4kg for an empty aquaroll? A quilt and 4 pillows 9kg? Someone must have an uncomfortable bed.

I've just weighed my empty aquaroll and it was 4.6kg without the handle. I'm allowing 5kg. The wastemaster is heavier again

Davecoaches were it say weighed at the side thats what i weighed them at, the 9 kg is for the bedding for 4 people including pillows either sleeping bags or quilts.  the weight soon adds up

We take all 4 bikes on the roof of the car. We keep a spreadsheet (that's the royal we, I don't actually do it) of the weight of everything in the caravan. We have weighed car on weigh bridge. You do have to be careful because it does all add up.
I wouldn't think of trying to put the bikes in the caravan because they might bang about.

I have been wondering about this too, we pick our new Unicorn Cadiz up on the 20th April and the user payload is 154kgs which when you take off 40kgs for the motor mover and another 40kgs for the full awning it don't leave very much for everything else!!! I'm not sure if bailey include the weight of the power lead, battery and gas bottles and spare wheel in the MRO?

That is what I am not sure about Nescafe, ours has a microwave as standard so I assume things like that are already included in the weight for the unladen. We are in the process of looming for an awning at the moment for our week long trip to Kelling Heath but there goes a further 40kg, not to mention the awning that stays on the side of the van! I hadn't thought to add that in too!!??!! I am thinking naturist camps now, that will at least take the clothes out of the equation!!

Is it your first van? I have never had so many sleepness nights as I have since deciding to buy a caravan. I can't decide if it is excitement or worry!

This is our second van, but the last one was older so you had to count everything in the weight i think they have made it more confusing as now you dont know what is and what isnt included and it varies between manufactures from what i can gather. I have been reading the handbook to find out what is included, when im any clearer i will let you know lol!
what fixed awning to the side of the caravan have you got?

Im very excited about getting the new one but with the much lower user payload we have had a massive clear out and i feel a trip to the weighbridge coming on.

your worrying far to much ,just pack what you feel is needed and use the van ,it will sort itself out after a couple of trips .the only thing i would caution against is putting bikes inside the van as if they shift during towing the damage will be not worth taking them .caravan interiors are notoriously fragile

We're dropping over 70kg in payload when we change vans tomorrow. I'm weighing everything as it goes back in
