We are collecting our first van next month, it will have the BPW Wheel lock fitted by Elddis.
We have also bought a RobStop hitchlock.
Our question is, is it worth while or necessary to fit a secondary wheel clamp on the other side?
OH thinks it could be a visual deterrent as the Wheel Lock will be hidden by the awning (if erected). I'm not concerned about at home, just on site.
I don't want to be jangling like a prison guard with loads of different keys!
Any words of wisdom?
Thanks
------------- Yes, the car is bigger than the 'van.
we have the alko on our this van so had a wheel clamp spare did not bother until I had two new tyres fitted so put the spare on the other side I thought two tempting to leave unlocked malc
We keep ours on the drive and when it is there we use two clamps.when on site we only use one because of the weight in transit they are heavy.if you carry two your payload will be reduced.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
