We are in France, Caravan was serviced 3 weeks ago and I replaced the 6 kg propane bottle.A couple of days ago we noticed a faint rotten cabbage type smell outside the caravan.Then I opened the front locker I smelled it in there and realised it was gas.Have checked pigtail connections are all tight,we now turn off the gas when not in use.when I turn gas off at the bottle there is no smell,could the leak be coming from the bottle...the screw valve on the top.Any ideas please ?

with a mixture of water and washing up liquid, with a small paint brush,with the gas turned on    brush it around all the connections looking a mass of bubbles to locate the leak
