That's an interesting one. I would definitely avoid a free standing panel which is the obvious solution as it's likely to go walkabouts.
Two options occur to me. One is to get a flexible panel attached to the cover, though this would be very vulnerable as they are not designed to be folded.
The other option is a roof mounted panel which has the advantage or allowing you off EHU for long periods. You would need a window to be fitted to your cover though. This would reduce the power output of the panel to a degree but the power usage when the cover is fitted is minimal.
