Hi. I am finally sat in ,y new Adria Astella.......SO EXCITED.... We arrived last night and set up and have a few questions I hope someone has the answer too
Firstly water. We have an Alde hot water and heating system so all new to me. The water pressure in the bathroom is great and as I'm used to. But the water from the kitchen tap is a slow flow. Is it possible to alter it? This is my most important issue as it take a long time to fill the sink and doesn't create washing up bubbles! A woman thing LOL
When we connect the pump it automatically fills the tank and system I know because I can hear it. When we use water the pump is much more noisey than I'm used to and you hear it continue for a few seconds after the tap goes off, is this normal in a new system. Seems much more noisey to me.
We realised after using our first load of water that we had no waste after my husband investigated we found that a pipe underneath the van was not connected at all so all our waste was under the van. My husband has just hand pushed the pipes together. Is this how they should be? Are they connected with anything, an object or substance?
Many thanks in advance and I apologise if I'm back later with more questions!!
Sounds like you've got an air lock in your water system. Let the hot tap run for a while. It should start spluttering and you'll see a stream of bubbles before it runs clear. Then do the cold tap - that will only take a few seconds as it will be connected directly to the inlet !
Definitely not air we've got rid of the air and the bathroom tap is fine. The mystery continues...I'm sure someone must know
Regarding the first reply whilst its new to us it's not new new and not bought from an adria dealer. Whilst it would be under warranty, given that its now delivered and set up on a seasonal pitch I really don't want to have to take it off to a dealer quite some distance away unless really really necessary. IMHO it's much better than an English van and that's why I bought it, not a very helpful reply!!!
When we changed van we noticed the pump noise was more noticeable because it was internal and the old one was the submersible one. Also it does run for a few seconds after a running tap is switched off.
