Hi Nutkins

Not 100% sure what these might be perhaps a pressure release. If you could a picture or two would be great help. Obvious question but have a hand book that may have some info for you if not try seeing if you can get a down load from the makers website.

Yes as everyone else has said push the red "plug" in a wee bit and then push the collar around it in and hold in you will then be able to pull the red plug out. when refitting do the reverse but ensure the collar slides down the red plug to lock it in place. As per your original post you said there was a drip from these try taking out and refitting first and see if that works if not you may need to change to rubber "O" rings an easy job if not a bit fiddly.

Hi Nutkins you will be able to get the "O" rings from any caravan dealer I am not sure what size they are exactly, you could take one out and try a plumbers merchant or DIY store if you are not close to a caravan shop/dealer. A wee tip when refitting the red plugs after putting in new rings is to run a tiny bit of washing up liquid around the red plugs and they shall slide in easier and not risk damaging the new rings.

As for draining down you will be absolutely fine just draining down your heater tank during the season for traveling (open all your taps this helps the water drain down)e leave the ones under the van until putting away for the winter.

Don't do what I did I have an under slung water tank that holds about 90 lts forgot to drain it down before heading home one trip "thought she felt a bit heavy on the hills but bloody stable all the same"
