We purchased one for the last week of our hols after the wind took our Bradcot out [2 weeks ago].

Quite alot of condensation with 3 labs sleeping in it, and on our last day the wind was quite severe a kink did appear in the lower part of right hand tube which did not right itself by popping back, this may have been because it was a first time for us and not erected quite right.

We did purchase the storm guys and back poles, they were only £33 extra, would like the carpet but they were out of stock.

Am still nervous about high winds after our last experience of it, but will probably take heed of weather warnings in future and take it down before hand, they do say in the blurb it is designed for light to moderate weather and take down during strong winds or snow

It did go up much quicker than expected, and came down easily plus fits in the nice big bag it came in easily, so looking forward to next time and hope we iron out the kink we had previously.

Where did you purchase it from? Many thanks.

We are in Cornwall, the wind is gusting at 50mph, the rain is pouring down but our Kampa Rally Air 390 takes it in its stride. It does flex and when it first happened ......,, bricks comes to mind but a flexing awning is better than broken poles.
We put it up by blowing it up first then fitting the storm poles, we then peg it down and ajust the guy ropes.

got one of these, and selling it on the ads here. i cant complain though, used 3 times, rigid and strong compared to poles, the diameter of the air poles is huge, coupled with putting it up in minutes, its ace, but......too small for us, would swap with a rally 390 plus (with the zip in annexe) obvs in excellent condition though. but if it doesnt sell then we will happily keep it and just use our tent inside it as usual.
id give this awning 10/10 for ease of use and unlike most awnings, this goes back in the bag without straining arms etc.,

Hi guys
Just been reading your reviews on kampa rally air, we bought one last year have used it many times away, over winter brought it indoors and went out first time last week in caravan unfortunately when trying to pump up the awning it kept losing air pressure at a considerable rate, upon closer inspection we saw to our dismay the valve piping had split, every single darned one of them so no awning for a ten day trip......aaaargh!!!

Must admit, the air has never appealed to us. I have been put off them by the amount we have seen on sites with problems and owners we've spoken to that have said they wouldn't buy air again but go back to poles. I know there are many people pleased with them though so it's all about individual choice.

I don't honestly think there's that much difference in time to put up as it's the pegging that takes most time. I could put up the 260 rally with poles without OH in about 15 mins plus pegging if that.

Just bought the Kampa Rally Pro Ace 400. It's a new hybrid awning so in between a full and a porch in the way that all 5 panels zip out and it's the heavier weight material. Very stylish awning as it comes out an extra 50cm in a bay at the front. Very pleased, would recommend to anyone!

We have been looking for a Kampa Rally Air. Have just noticed a few places have some in stock this week......but I think they may be selling the updated Rally Air for 2014 at the same price as the Rally Air Pro. There was quite a difference in price at the beginning of the year.

Shelleybobs I hadn't heard of these and just googled it. Wow what a great looking awning

here

That must have huge amounts of space inside - only just tried our 390 Rally Club for first time last week and already looking at upgrading!

It really is lovely Sunshinetours! We christened it our party tent at the weekend with friends lots of room and bags of light. It fits just behind the toilet trap closest to the end of the caravan and goes towards the front window without covering it up. The cassette door opens fine with the back poles secured so we were really pleased. I think that's our awning shopping over for the foreseeable future we absolutely love that the panels zip out as it makes it great for me putting the awning up on my own given that the fabric is heavier.

In my excitement I forgot to take pics I will do so next bank holiday!

Imagine it fits fine as we have the 390, so only 10cm shorter and as you say there is room up towards the front side window.

Glad you are pleased with it looks a great piece of kit and very smart looking

We bought one last year and used it a few times. Then disaster struck as all the internal air tubes had severed and wouldn't hold any air. Kampa refunded the awning and offered a discount on a new one.
Hopefully they have sorted the problem
