The fittings are designed to safely have a gas supply 24/7.i only turn off when we leave the site.we have spent as much as 27 nights with it turned on without a problem.odd times we we have the gas fire on at night.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Always leave mine on whilst on site but off and disconnected whilst travelling. I also have a can of leak detection spray( a spraybottle of soapy water will do) to check the joint after connecting.
Must admit, i have left my gas gas on for years, van dosent move off the pitch. But i do forget to turn it off, Its not that i use gas really at all, am all electric here. so i might just turn it off now.
------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
