don't know how you stand on the legal front but i think i'd be pushing for a refund via the small claims courts if the seller won't play ball or at least looking into it i don't think the ' sold as seen' ploy she has tried would stand up in court, she has sold an item which is not fit for purpose, ie the damp damage and the lack of items such as a battery etc, coupled to that she has also mis-represented the condition of the 'van in her advert yes it's a hard lesson to learn but i'm sure you'd have a claim against her, just depends how far and how hard you want to push for a refund having said that, i guess, you'd have to weigh up the cost of and time taken to pursue a case through the courts against the price you paid for the 'van, would the ends justify the means ?
------------- no tin tent outings booked as yet ,just another cruise in Sept' booked so far
