If it wasn't for the wheel lock my caravan would be gone. The Alco hitch lock was smashed off and nowhere to be seen.

Aside the fact there are some real nasty individuals about and the wheel lock did it's job. I would get your alloy wheel checked out if they have been smashing away at the Alko lock there may be a chance that some of the shock has gone through to the alloy and caused some damage. Has this been reported to the Police as if they didn't get yours ill bet they will go for someone else's these are stolen to order not just random theft so an organised gang could be in the area.

The caravan is kept in storage which has CCTV on the entrance. Very impressed with the wheel lock not so impressed with the Alko 3004 hitch lock or should I say the hitch itself, which is cast metal and looks like one good bang with a hammer was enough to break it and the lock lifted out. Really not impressed to the damage to the alloy wheel. The owner of the storage is going through the CCTV footage and the reporting to police etc. In the mean time i'm trying to get the lock of so I can go away this weekend

Just to echo others thoughts and obviously what I am thinking is very much not printable. Definitely get the police informed ASAP as they may be able to keep more of an eye on the area and they need to know if organised gangs are about.

I believe in karma........they will get there's one way or another.
