Where do you put your tv, infront of the window or on the side table. I did put mine in the window but had to move it everytime we wanted to use the table, tried it on the side unit but seeing as there isnt many worktops we were a bit cramped

My lunar Lexon has a tv cupboard between the kitchen and bedroom (overhead locker height). It came with a lazy susan to put a portable tv on, but no good for a LCD tv as the viweing angle for a LCD is level to above. I fitted a jointed arm with tilt ans swivel its perfect. then shut the roll style doors and its away from prying eyes

Only have the front or side unfortunately, if its a the front we cant see anything apart from the tv and if its on the side we cant use things properly because of the tv being in the way.
My Clubman SB has a TV bracket in the bedroom area and a small shelf in the lounge area, both with power are ariel sockets. To free space on the shelf I fitted a TV wall bracket above it.
Mine has a tv space but I like it in the front window. Then I can pretend to look at it while looking out of the window to see whats going on.
No I do like it in the window or I feel like I am just looking in the van all the time I like to look out at the view . Also I am not always watching it . Especially if football is on.

You have quite a large cupboard for the tv. Do you have a tv that is too large. We only have a 19inch it's quite small and slim. The other thing you could do is invest in one of the new tables that have a pull out table it doesn't need to be lifted over they just slide out . You wouldn't need to remove the tv to pull it out.

This is exactly how I feel! My tv is 22 inch, I think, but even so its very light so easy peasy to put somewhere out of the way during the day then back onto the front cabinet in the evening

Andy, your van sounds like it has the same set up as my Swift Challenger with the TV cupboard, have you any pictures of how you have fitted the TV bracket.
Thanks
------------- A man with one watch knows what time it is; a man with two watches is never quite sure.
I have used a folding bracket fixed to the wardrobe and strengthened.this is facing away from the window towards the rear of the caravan, this way we can put our feet up full length on the seat to watch it at night.just me i would not like to watch tv in the window because we would need to sit up straight all the time.the one we used is like the asda one which you can look up.

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
The tv is a 22 inch and there are cupboards over the worktop, I wonder if the tv would be a bit too heavy to hang on a bracket, not sure though, but i will have a look when Ime next at the van. I like the tv on the side worktop so that the front widow is free for other things ie cup of tea and biscuits whilst we are watching tv lol and if ime luck a vase of flowers lol, but seriously I wish I had a separate shelf just made for the tv and booster instead of wires trailing behind the seats, when the tv is on the side all the wires are in the topbox and just 1 is seen going into the back of the tv....
Just another thought here. We keep our tv at the front on the drawers. However, this is not always a good position. Most tvs are black and if the sun shines through the front window they can get extremely hot, so hot in fact it could causebinternal damage to the circuit boards. We always take ours off when not in use for this reason.
Good ideas!.I think the tv will have to go on a bracket or on the side, never thought about the sun through the windows, because we dont get it that often lol.
thanks for your replies
