Could anybody help please. The extractor fan on my 2005 Hymer Nova 390 has suddenly stopped working. Have checked fuses etc and checked the handbook but no luck.
It is very difficult to see how to get into the unit.

It's normally the motor has failed mainly due to being near the outside roof area.damp air gets into them.its done well though from 2005

Sorry we have checked and there is no manufacturers name on the unit and nothing in the handbook. The unit sits above the oven as part of the overhead cupboard unit with integrated lights. Wired for 12 volt approx 110 mm square 30 mm thick brown plastic with 4 stabilizing arms to hold motor and blade. It is trying to turn when switched on manages half a revolution and kicks back and tries again. Does this mean a new motor is required?

Yes unless you can get it off and free it.try a bit of WD 40 spray overnight.as a rule if the motor sticks it blows a fuse if protected.

It does sound like a dry motor bearing , as Michael says try a bit of WD40 and see if it does the trick .
