I`m trying to work out how long a caravan I can get.
Some give an internal length and a shipping length, but how do I know what the actual body length would be?
I only have a small area to manoeuvre in.
How is the internal/external body length worked out.?

My existing van is 3.77 and 5.21 and I want to go slightly bigger. I don`t want to get one home and find it won`t fit in !!!!

I think..... Shipping lengh includes the A frame / drawbar, all the way from nose to tail as it were.

If you don't have a manual, try an internet search, it should come up with all the measurements you need.

AS GCMS says shipping length is it's maximum length, snout to tail, which is the length you will be interested in.

Internal length is as it suggests measured inside the caravan, so excludes gas locker, A frame, and the thickness of the front and rear panels.

Just measure from the rear of the A frame to the rear of the caravan where the lights are.our shipping length is 23 feet but internal is only 19 feet.use this measurement if you need a cover for it too.
