Hi, I did join as it was free for the first year but have never gone to any of their rallies. Our membership is up for renewal soon and I think we probably won't pay for the coming year. Would still like to know if anyone else belongs and can tell me what their rallies are like.

We are not members but we have stayed with them at Lymington a couple of times. They are a really nice friendly group of people who we have enjoyed being with for a week or so at a time. The pictures in my profile are from their Lymington meets in 2011 and 2012, we couldn't go last year because we were busy elsewhere but we hope to meet up with them again later this year.
We were for five years, but not for the last couple.
Now you don't have to join this "group" to attend their meets, the club stamped on that practice. However, you might find old habits die hard and there are still those who will make you feel uncomfortable.
So try them and see if you fit, they like all sections are desperate to build up numbers so need to be more welcoming.
Thank you both for your replies. I've been looking at photos on their website and it looks as though they have a good time but I'm looking for family camping so not sure if they're right for us. As you say, we don't have to be BCC members to rally with them so might join them some time.
