Hi all I have been giving the van a good clean down but the plastic panels at the front and rear of my Abbey Spectrum are looking pretty dull with no sort of shine what ever.
I have been using a good quality van cleaner for two years but have never managed to get these panels to sparkle. Has any one got any suggestions of a good cleaning polish product as I seriously considering giving them a top coat of spray paint clear coat lacquer if I don't get it sorted soon.
Mine were the same on my challenger, I used Autoglym restoration and resin polish, lots of elbow grease and patience, they now have a decent shine on them, I had a tip from a chap who restores and sells caravans to use autosol metal polish but I've not tried it.

Oh autosol I have some of that somewhere think ill give that a try first and if that don't work then on to the Autoglym but I do have one of those big electric polishers so hopefully save a bit of effort on the bigger areas.
Just try the autosol on a small area first, whether it works or not I have no idea, an electric polisher and and auto glym should do the trick, I don't use any other products.
