Hi folks just need some advice and guidance please. We're buying a new caravan at the weekend, a 1996 Elddis Wisp (cant wait!) and im now on the look out for a porch awning but im bit concerned about fitting due to the sloping front and how close the door is to front. Just want something cheap, lightweight and really easy to put up.
I just posted this on another thread. Can highly recommend this awning!
We bought the Sunncamp Swift 220 2013 model (which has the improved 5000HH waterproofing and bigger windows than the old version) as shown below:

It was great at Easter and we got it for £79 inc delivery from Camping & General who are still the best priced supplier I have found with smooth and easy delivery.
As an indication of how good this offer is, I have seen the older 2012 models on ebay for over £100, and they dont have the improved 5000 hydrostatic head waterproofing or the bigger sized windows!

I know what you mean about the sloping front, we also have an Older Elddis (1995) but our door is closer to the back. Although we were wanting the kampa rally 330 awning with an inner tent, we ended up having a kampa rally 260 plus because there wasn't enough straight run for the length of the 330. I don't think that any of the kampa rally ones will fit if your door is under the slope.
The awning in the pics above might do it as it only seems to have the one main structural pole ( although I may be wrong??? ) I think your best bet is maybe go in to an awning dealers and ask their advice, then at least if you get one from them and it doesn't fit, you have a valid reason to return it as you bought it on their advice. This happened with us as we bought an inner tent for the 260 plus so we had 2 sleeping areas, the guy in the shop said it would fit but it didn't. I returned it obviously opened and tried but I explained I bought it on advice from their staff and the gave me a full refund
Shellybobs - you're completely right, it does only have the one structural upside down U-shaped pole.
The part that goes along the front of the roof is a bendy tent-style fibreglass pole, and that then connects on each side to a powder-coated steel pole with quick release adjustable clamps so you can adjust the height depening on whether you are on level ground or not.
It takes about 5 minutes to put this up, including the pegging.
