When I arrive on site with my 4.8ltr twin turbo Porsche cyan special edition towing my 26ft yes 26ft Luxury caravan with electric extending lounge and portable jacuzzi, I make sure i don't park next to a crappy old tin hut caravan.
If one comes in and sets up next to me i move to another site, and i don't go anywhere where they have those rag hut things, I think they are called tents, i mean if i was that poor i wouldn't bother.
When you see me on site don't bother me unless you have a unit like mine.

I could lend you some fairy lights and a flag, if you like?

Oh blimey, look what I started I only really wanted to get a bigger picture of what people in the caravanning world thought of the build quality of the Adria caravans. We love what they have to offer in terms of not too many extras as we are simple people really, and like someone on the forum has said in another post, if you are not too bothered about all the extras, then why pay for them? Yes I suppose in a fantasy world we would all like to have exactly what we wanted whether it cost £500 or £50,000 as long as it suited us but budgets do come in to it too. I love our little caravan but its just not practical for our family, yes we bought it to see how we would get on without breaking the bank. I dont give a flip about pulling up in an 18 year old caravan be it next to a 26ft luxury with a porsce or a £200 vintage. If I'm perfectly honest, the only reasons we are thinking of brand new is the warranties that are involved and that caravanning will be our holidays for the foreseeable future. Also trying to think of the investment we will have in the van and the saleability of it in the future if anything goes belly up with our finances I know I would prefer to have a little bit of back up if buying a second hand van of considerable value.

Well, whether it be in our little crappy as we so lovingly named her or a new Adria, or another brand for that matter, we shall make it work for us in the best way we can thanks for all the replies from people giving their genuine opinion on the Adria brand and thanks to all those who maybe haven't had an opinion on the brand but have taken the time to comment on other matters without you all my days would be a lot duller

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

We've always returned to Adria's having looked at many other vans on the market.
We like their quality, neat and tidy finish inside and out and their interiors. We wouldn't knock anyone else for their choice of van, but we're very pleased with our choice.
They always seem to be competitively priced when compared to similar layouts from other manufacturers.
We've often thought that the washrooms on some of their models let them down a little - not keen on the brown plastic they sometime use. Having said that, the washroom in the new Thames and Astellas are lovely. We liked the washroom in our 542dt because of its size and the wooden sink cabinet.
Great value, dry vans!

Ok, although we love our little Elddis, and after using it a couple of times with the kids we are realising that we are only going to get this year out of it as its only a 4 berth and we are 5. Also we would like to do winter caravanning so the kids in the awning wouldn't be an option.

So.........   We Are looking In to the possibility of getting a new caravan maybe next year. We quite like the look of the Adria Sportline 6 berth dt which is a dealer special based on the Altea.

OH mentioned it to someone last night and they pulled a right face! Eugh, cheapy ones they are, don't touch them, they're foreign etc etc

What do you think of Adria caravans?

They have a 10 year water ingress warranty like some of the other british made vans and I can't help coming back to their very first comment........................ Eugh, cheapy ones!
