I now have running water well to some degree. I was advised to change the non-return valve at the inlet pipe as the pump now running is pulsing on and off when the taps are closed. The engineer thought this was a faulty non-return valve. I have change this over and still having the pulsing of the pump. I am now guessing this is due to me having to change the water pressure switch settings.
All good and well and easy to do.
Not so !! On the compass Rallye there is a cover marked carver when unscrewed it contains a circuit board marked water pressure switch 4 wires coming from the board running somewhere in to the caravan and 2 wires going to what is the water pressure switch problem is there is no adjustment knob on this and doesn't appear to resemble any water pressure switch I've seen here is a pic of it
I don't suppose anyone else has seen this type. I know this is the water pressure switch as when the pump is on you can here it clicking and can see it move as well.
There does appear to be a small screew on the top of this with a nut at the bottom just wondering if this could be the adjustment screw or if this is an early model of an automatic pressure switch.
In my old lunar meteor the pressure switch is similar, not exactly but near. it is adjustable by loosening the locknut and turning the screwhead. I readjusted mine by only turning the screw a counted quarter of a turn firstly clockwise and testing by opening a tap after each quarter turn until it became obvious that it was in the wrong direction. Having counted the number of turns enabled me then to return to the position I started from. Repeating the quarter turns anticlockwise found a position where on opening the tap water flowed.
------------- If if it aren't totally broken its probably best left alone.

yep that's a bog standard pressure switch, they were/are used inside electric showers to switch the power through to the elements when the manual water valve is turned on, pressure drops and the plunger drops thus switching the power through.
your system works the same but instead of the switch turning on the electric elements it turns the pump on.
it seems to be working ok , the problem does point to the non return valve ,or a small leak.

Seems I will have to return to the dealer as tried loosening the nut and turning the screw but has not helped. Will let the dealer sort it out. Was wondering if possible to change the pressure switch in the pic for a standard one
just me let the dealer have a go first if not happy just fit a whale pressure switch in its place then you can forget it.having said that if a dealer cannot sort it we dont stand much chance.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
strange thing happened whist we were packing to leave site. Wife was doing a lot of washing up so was running a lot of water hot and cold. when she turned the water off the pump actually stopped maybe just had pressurised properly. We are away again in 5 weeks so will see what happens then if still having problems will get dealer to sort out as a bit difficult to return if everything now working. Will keep you posted
