Hi everybody.
A new member here wondering if anybody has one of the new Concordia models from DH/Stealth? I have read some horror stories about the original products but have seen little about the new ones. Any info, gratefully received.
Thanks Marco
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Hi, yes, thanks, I read this a week or so back....felt/feel very sorry for Mawkwind as I have actually had a worse experiance with a Swift.....70 listed faults, their own assesor said it was as bad as he had seen & they still would not/could not fix it, replace it or be of any real help.
I took it that the chronicals refered to earlier model & the DH site is still up & running?
Wow you've had a major issue with swift now you thinking of getting a stealth.....are you mad ??? for your own sanity i'd pick something else.........anything
Hey...I like a challenge !!!! You have a point though Bessie, that I was already aware of....however, I have seen nothing on the Concordia range & was hoping things had improved?
If I am honest, the best van I had was a Coachman but I have been put off another after grief with one of their dealers recently whilst trying to buy another. I dont seem to have lot of luck with caravan maufacturers or thier useless dealers.
So what was wrong with the Swift? How old is it and why would they not mend it?
I have had trouble with mine window leaks overhead locker door fell off But now hopefully it seems ok
Geoff....dont start me on Swift. Bought from a dealer with many branches it was a demo....things went wrong the first night...electrical issues, leaks, cracks developed in GRP, doors bowed, floors creaked, blinds failed, elecrical system failed, door lock problems....the list was endless. The dealer could not fix it & I finally made a scene on the swift stand at the NEC & was given a coffee in the VIP area & told that everything would be rosey again. They sent an assesor, who said it was terrible & they had it back at the factory for a month. It came back most of the above faults + they cut the periphery of the floor out all round & sort of glued some bits back in - they did not tell me about that - I found it & went off the deep end & they just said it was due to potential water ingress.
I am in engineering & have repaired Caravans before so know my way around the structures etc.
In the Stealth chronicals, someone points out how you get good & bad from all manufacturers...true...its how the company goes about resolving issues?
Oh yes forgot about the blinds one of mine fell apart too Some swift dealers are nothing more than 2nd hand car dealers However some are all right
The stealth website is going again but now its called dunsterhousecaravans.com Good luck..
