We have a swift challenger sport 586. Just got back from Barmouth(there Monday to friday). Didnt want to put up a full awning but could have done with a small porch Awning. Does anybody with a 586 own a porch awning and if so which one, how does it fit etc
Most porch awnings will fit most caravans with a length of straight awning channel. We used the sunncamp ultima 260 which was incredibly light and easy to erect. Single handed too.

We were away last week in very windy conditions and the porch awning stayed up amazingly. A cheap but easy awning to put up & i was impressed at the durability. There is a new one now for 2013.
I have a porchlite square which is more or less the same as the one pictured by stevo1. If you just want any area to store your chairs and kick your shoes off these are fantastic - up in ten minutes and mine has withstood horrendous weather conditions.
If you require a bit more room the 260's and 390's are also a good light weight alternative to a traditional framed porch awning.
We bought a brand new Isabella all in one 420 awning when with our new Bailey but then spotted a Sunncamp Crown 390 small lightweight awning and picked that one up too .The Isabella i fear will become a white elephant, as the Sunncamp was light easy to put up and not hugely overcomplicated in design. It is a bit bigger than a porch awning but gives more than enough room for short stays. It was a bit windy on our last trip but seemed ok and tbh if needed a few storm straps would help matters if need be!
