Does anyone have any brilliant ideas on how to stop the light between the fly screen & blackout blind which shines directly down onto the bed & wakes my toddler!!! I don't really want to buy additional black out blinds to attach to window as they aren't cheap! Can you put something that plugs that gap?? Any ideas really appreciated!
What I did on mine was to put a curtain wire with hooks onto little loops across the bottom of the window and tuck the curtains proper into that. It not only stops the light, but it helps stop the cold coming down as well.
I'm not sure if this is possible with your particular van though, it all depends on if you have somewhere suitable to screw the loops into.
What about sticky backed velcro? Would that work? Even a rolled up tea towel would be better than nothing!
Or a towel over the top of all, pegged to the rail.
All these solutions are for windows... if it's the skylight causing the bother, just shove a cushion in it!

Thanks for ideas! The curtains are quite short so they literally end at bottom of roller blinds, I am tempted to let the hem down but am rubbish with a needle! lol
Tried the sticky back velcro the gap is too big & it pings open!
Yep rolled up material I think might have to be the way to go, I did wonder about some kind of foam tube with a slit to fit on bottom? Hmmmm need to get creative!
We have an older caravan with no cassette blinds at the front we removed the curtains and rail (can be put back to sell)Bought a 6 foot black out roller blind from Argos (under £20), fitted the blind, made sure the blind rolled down nearest the window, bought some net curtain wire and secured at top, middle and bottom of the blind = works great and nobody sees it at night, during the day i remove the net curtain wire and lay flat on the window sill or tuck behind cushions and blind rolls nicely away.
Provides good insulation too - i was surprised how well it works and all for less than £25
If that fails we used sticky back Velcro on the bottom of the blond with a bit of blackout material cut to size to fit down the insulation board thing on the wall. Worked a treat for us.
