Have you looked at the 542 UP with the fixed bed, based on same platform?
Awww sunshinetours not just yet, only just had her larger Heki done lol and am enjoying that but we will be checking out what's around come the NEC show in October. Ideally we would love a caravan that has longer front seating that can be used both as singles as well as a double and would also like a larger fridge. As we are on a seasonal site and use the van most weekends and school holidays we feel this would be of benefit. We love our sporty as you know so don't know if parting with her will happen and yes we have looked at the UP, in fact i took some pictures of it when up at Venture.....which can be found here if anyone is interested in this model... Adria Sportline UP 2014 We also looked at all the Adoras, love the Thames but all of them have too short seating at front again, not much bigger than our current van which we found rather annoying considering all that extra space the adoras have grrrrr and we also looked at Bailey, loved the Barcelona. We'll see, nothings set in stone and we currently can't imagine anyone else owning our sporty......hmmmm not a nice thought.....am wondering whether we could afford to buy and keep 2 caravans Hubby chokes at the thought haaahaaa....nope! We certainly don't want to be left with any regrets so trust me we'll be thinking long and hard about it.
Our Kampa Carnival awning is back up .... yay .... love the extra dumping space

Also love the hanging gadget that we picked up from Venture for just £2.99, i wish i had bought another one now. Great for hanging coats, towels and such in the awning.....

Clever, just give Venture a call to book your caravan in for its service. They are very helpful. We booked ours in back in Feb lol.

Well, pleased to say, our Sportline came out of the service absolutely fine. All the little niggles were sorted, they even put a whole new door on where the catch had mad a bit of a mess on the cupboard above the sink. Damp report came back between 8% and 13% which I'm happy with
Surprisingly we had a fail on the report and the gas line near the regulator was changed....... apparently there was no date visible on the piping so they changed it. Excellent practice I think considering the line was obviously not an old one being that this was it's first service.
10/10 again for Venture's excellent service!!
I did have to chuckle though when I turned up on my own with my 3 year old to pick up the caravan...... the guy that handed over our caravan was looking for the man of the family and was rather taken back when I said "no its just me, he's at work!" He looked a bit worried and asked if I normally towed haha.
2 hours later and I was raising more eyebrows as I turned up to site, manoeuvred, pitched, levelled and set up the caravan including awning and was just settling down to a nice cold glass of wine in the sunshine when OH turned up. Lady from next door caravan popped round sunday afternoon telling me I had sparked a bit of an argument between her and her husband. apparently they were watching me set up and when I managed perfectly well on my own, wife turned to husband and said.. " If a slip of a girl like that can cope on her own, then why do you shout me to hold this, pull that, get this carry that....... whilst I'm inside trying to cook tea??" It did make me chuckle!!
Here's to another fun year in our lovely caravan
