just returned from 5 very very cold , windy and wet nights at Pickering ,north yorks, the last night we had 50 mile an hour gusts, very scary hardly slept atal, allthough very impressed with the awning we decided enough was enough and came home a day earlier than planned, roll on July,
It was like that on our first trip ever. 3 nights at Flookburgh. muddy site, very windy . . . .loved it! It`s been like that ever since . . July and August are no better (the rain`s a tad warmer) But September?? YES! Great weather every time . . .
------------- Peripheral people don`t have as much excitement but they sure live longer
