Just been to the caravan to take some items prior to going away, the van is in a secure storage yard close by so is very handy.
When we arrived we noticed the cover on the hitch was not in place as were some others, we then noticed some cut marks on the Alco hitch lock the site owner came over to us and told us that there had been a break in and some damage to some caravans,
No caravan had been broken into it was damage to locks and wheel clamps, the fence had been cut but they must have set the alarm off covering the vans and made off before the police arrived.
Thank heavens for CCTV in place or there could have been more damage than what had been caused.
The site owner is having a move around with the vans and installing a further beam to the system to cover the fence that was cut.
Strange because they could not have taken a van out without it being recorded on camera and having to break open some very big gates in full view, but no caravan was broken into.
You can never stop the really determined oiks, BUT at least the storage areas security worked and nothing was actually stolen. Damage is a pain though to get good quality repairs. Good luck.
It was nice of the storage owners to let you know, unless of course it had just happened the night before
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
