Could you ask your neighbours to push the van into position and hitched to your car? A few helpful people pushing would do the same job as the mover - most people are happy to help out in your moment of need, especially if you give them a bottle of wine as a thankyou!

All of the CC sites and good private sites have very helpful wardens who will use their little mower/tractor machine with it's towball attachment to take your caravan and put it on the pitch for you. I've seen this done a number of times.

hi, thanks for all your helps and advice, the caravan dealers are going to look at it on Thursday and fingers crossed,put it right. It is a Truma SE motor mover.hubby goes in on the 28th June to have his other hip replaced so we are hoping to go away for the week before that.
