Currently sitting in the van having a wee cuppa before bedtime, reflecting on the perfect weekend we have had in Melrose CC site. Weather has been fantastic, weve had picnics,lovely walks, nice drives and nice cold beer(after the driving of course)
Pity it's all over tomorrow morning but this weekend has reminded me why we got a caravan in the first place.
Roll-on Forfar in a few weeks

Fife Bloke you had the weather this weekend aright, I was along the road a bit helping out at the Thurilston vintage car show in Lauder a fantastic day on show day Sunday.
Nice to hear of folk coming to the Borders. Funny I am in Fife a couple of times each year down at Crail which has to be one of the nicest places we ever visit.

We love the Borders Andy there are some amazing towns down there and nice campsites. We done Lauder in April past there.
Also love the highlands, it's the bit in the middle of scotland that spoils it lol

We were at Strathclyde Park CC site ... not very glamorous but had a lovely weekend.
The weather made all the difference.

If the CC site at Melrose is full may I suggest that you give Springlee CL a visit. It's just a couple of miles up the road. Nice clean site.

Heading there next month for a 4 night stay, would have been a week but we have a wedding on the Friday so coming home on the Wednesday. Love foresterseat, were on first name terms with Emma as well lol
