I can recommend Interparcel as a very competitively priced courier agent - we just used then to book TNT Express 24-hour, who delivered our new awning. (It was in 2 parcels which weighed about 32kg (canvas) and 22kg (steel poles) for a 950 sized awning which has the canvas weight at 290 grams per sq metre).

The total price was about £38 inc VAT, which included the optional insurance against damage or loss, which seemed pretty good for a 24 delivery service. A lot of the cheap couriers like MyHermes will only take parcels up to 15kg which is no good for awnings which tend to be a lot heavier
------------- 2015 - our 1st year of caravanning with a new baby. Can't wait! :)
