well one of them is for us really.a new mattress topper as my OH finds the bed still a bit uncomfy after a while.I dont actually think its that bad,and is way comfier than the fleetwood.but she needs to sleep as well,so thats the first.
second present is for the van itself.A pair of brand new shiny corner steady locks.already got a hitchlock,wheel clamp and an alarm,but really wanted another visible deterrent there.
next on our list is a mover,but that will more than likely be after summer now.
going down on saturday to fit the steady locks,and have a wee seat with our flask of coffee (yes we're a bit mad lol but we love that van)

"corner steady locks" next on my list, never seen them but they sound a wise investment what make did you get and will they fit any van?

i got sas corner steady locks,come in a case with everything you need.cost me £33 delivered for 2 which i thought was really reasonable.
advert says they fit any accesible corner steady nut.

We have the Milenco corner steady locks as in my opinion they are a much better design than the SAS ones.

Many of these type of locks can be twisted round to raise the leg up, but the Milenco ones lock the shaft so they can't be twisted.

you can take tubes of just slacken bolts slightly on corner steady and they pull off downwards, then nip bolts back up i removed mine for this purpose,

Just been out to have a look, the rear ones are in tubes but the side ones are easily accessible so I will be buying two. Thanks to the original poster for sharing this We bought a Dyson cordless hoover for our van today; we do not have an awning as yet and tend to walk in bits of grass.Think we will also use it in the home.
