Are there any 4 berth caravans out there, that you can connect up a mains water supply to, instead of going via an aqua roll, or an attachment, to do so
I don't think so because to accept a direct mains water supply you would need 15mm. copper piping installed to withstand the higher water pressure but as the caravan water pipes are constructed from reinforced plastic you would still require a lower water pressure feed which is via the 12 volt pump from an Aquaroll.

Lunar Clubman. We do not use the aquaroll on site when possible and use this instead, it came with the van. As you will se it has a pressure regulator thus negating the aquaroll.

I would suggest you stick to the aquaroll/water hog.
I had a whale mains connector - it didn't last very long (2years) considering I only use fully serviced pitches two or three times a year.
They are non repairable and at nearly £40.00 a go not worth it.
I got a small float valve at B & Q - drilled a hole in a spare side cap of the water barrel and made my own adapter for less than a tenner.
It also has the advantage that you aren't affected by varying water pressure on site and you've always got half a barrel of water should the site supply dry up altogether!
I already have the one that fits into the Aqua Roll and just wondered if there was any obvious advantage to not using the Aqua Roll. As you state, the number of times I will use sites with fully serviced pitches is quite small so I will stick to what I already have.

Are both of those not the same thing
No, one is for the aqua roll, the other is stright to the van
Really confused.com as they both have the same description and they both have a float valve, in other words for use with an Aquaroll.

Why do you want direct feed, is it so you don't have to have a aquaroll outside or for better pressure.
If for the former then what about a onboard water tank. Works the same as aquaroll with pump and valve to fill but you can't see it etc etc.

You would still need to fill the onboard tank first.

Correct as stated above it would work the same as a aquarol with the stop valve you just wouldn't to able to see it and it woukdnt have a direct feed into the caravan. Basically a built in aquarol under the caravan.
