Hi
I have reserved a 390 but just had a thought, are the inflatable awnings ok on gravel pitches? I assume it's just the "poles" that are inflatable but do we need to get a groundsheet or something similar to go down first?
I have a 390 on reserve too. God only knows when I'm going to get it........
I would have guessed that it would be OK and designed with hardstandings in mind. There are a few 390 owners on here as I asked a question about one a couple of weeks ago, have a search. Failing that email kampa direct or use their facebook page.
Ill be using my softex groundsheet from my previous awning, but this will go inside the Air as this awning has a inside lipped skirt on the corners.
If you do speak to kampa Pls post their response on here as i'd be interested to know too

Thanks Simon. I checked with the supplier and they said it was ok. I have just collected it from Salop Leisure, they gave me free poles as well. If anyone is interested they did have a couple of 260's in stock on Friday. Won't be using it for a couple of weeks though.
Guys I have a 390 air and so has my mate we have both pitched it on gravel hard standings with no probs whatsoever......you have to remember that the air tubes are well protected in a material similar to a rib style boat, no stone is oing to puncture it. This is a great Awning, you will have nothing but good things to say about it when you eventually get your hands on one. Any questions give me a shout!

Hi, i saw your pics on another post and it does look fab! Can't wait to get ours up in a couple of weeks. Was a bit worried because on another post someone had got 2 small holes in theirs when they were putting it up. They had laid it out on the ground and a small stone had done the damage. Anyway, I am glad you are enjoying yours. We have a seasonal pitch but were thinking of putting it up and taking it down after each visit as it is so quick. We may go touring next year that is another reason why we bought this one.
if anyone is interested: kampa air 390 being sold by me on the ads here.
and yes, this is fab on gravel, the air poles are really thick and it practically holds itself up.
we got exited and bought one, but its a tad too small for us.
