At the October show in the Nec, I purchased a motorhome from Marquis (Devon branch, I think), but it was agreed that the van would be collected by myself at the Preston branch.
What I discovered on collection was that the Preston branch were not really interested, as I had not purchased the van from their branch!!
The van had been ordered with reversing sensors, but these were constantly sounding the alarm as they were sensoring the bike rack!! When I asked what was the sence in paying for these, when they did not work if a bike rack had been fitted, the reply was that the Preston branch would not have advised sensors, only a camera.
However they susgeated that I take my complaint up with the Devon branch!! I understood that as Marquis owned both branches, the van should have been fit for purpose especially after I had paid a considerable sum for "Pre del;ivery inspection".
In my case I found Presdon/Marquis very unhelpful and would not buy from them again.
However, Marquis has been dealers for a considerable amount of time, therefore enough people appear to be happy with them.
You pay your money andtake your CHANCE!!
