Hi I have a Abi Marauder 450CT and i am looking at getting an awning I am new to all this and wondered if anyone could give advice on size have looked up and all i can get is 850???

We kept Our 450CT for six years and loved it.It was 12 years old and in great condition when we bought it in 2004.Sadly the awning which came with it (labelled 14')fitted beautifully but was well past it. Getting a replacement one proved a headache.We measured ground to ground,purchased a full awning of the correct size and found that even when erected and tensioned properly the result was BAGGY and SAGGY. We then purchased a porch awning....SAME DEAL. By a process of elimination We found that this was the result of two 450CT factors. The angle and start position of the front slope and the height of the awning rail itself (lower than more modern vans}. We cured this by pitching on the top level of a set of fiamma levelling ramps.

I always thought u measured the whole lenght of the awning rail but not to the floor.

Full awning measurement should be ground to ground thru the awning channel, so in this illustration the measurement would be from A to C.
