Well after 2 weeks of trying to find a gas locker cover and due to be going away soon we needed to sort something so my brother in law and hubby set to work this afternoon and I think they have done a really good job it's now hinged at the bottom and had catches on the top just the lock to go on and it will be finished they have already had the hose pipe on it and its waterproof as its nice and tight on the seals inside.

I am really pleased facing a family that's like me and like to pick up bargains even if there not sure why pays off. Had to buy the catches but the Perspex was on sake at ikea I year or two back at a £1 a sheet so think its not cost more than a £10 to fixs. It's not as smart as the real thing but it looks good and there's no panick now even if it takes done time to find the right one

Its completely finished now its a shadow in the front not the cover waving they man edged to bend it into shape and roll the edges round diet it tight up to the seal so no water can get in I thing especially considering they used bit they had about its fantastic

This was a one off with stuff my BIL and hubby had lying about. Don't think I will paint it with it being Perspex it would easy chip. So I am going to contact the lady that does my PVC stickers for me and see what we can come up with

Yes it was our caravan I am so upset. We have her to a family on the condition she was given away not sold they gave done absolutely nothing too her everything is what we did even the curtains bunting throws the lot. She might has he'll have used my photo for all the difference. Why do I bother doing nice things I should be a selfish money grabber like others as when I do I get slapped in the face
