hi all - we need to replace the waste outlet pipe from the bathroom basin. Inside the 'van is ok but outside underneath it has perished. It will mean we virtually have to dismantle the bathroom as the connection to the basin is behind a full length moulded plastic fitting. However the pipe comes up into the 'van in the little cupboard space under the wardrobe and through the wall into the bathroom behind the plastic moulding and the inside pipe all seems to be okay. Would it be feasible to put new piping outside underneath and up through the floor and join it to the good pipe inside the cupboard? I have looked for a joiner to join two 23.5mm pipes with no success. Any advice would be appreciated.
Have a look at this http://www.leisureshopdirect.com/caravan/water/product_36972/28mm_to_20mm_reducer.aspx
It's described as "A reducing adaptor to ensure a good fit between 28mm rigid pipework and 3/4" convoluted hose ( or 23.5mm hose with sealing sleeve )"
Maybe you could use 28mm pipe for the new run and connect to the existing using this adaptor.
