We finally swapped our tent for a caravan! Yayyy! It's a 1993 Compass Image (it looks fantastic and the people we purchased it from were lovely and you can tell they have loved it and looked after it) 4 berth. I am really pleased. I couldn't stand the thought of another weekend in a tent listening to the rain.
Anyway, we towed for the first time last night (I was terrified) but the M6 toll road proved a fab practice ground as there was just us on it. We are very wet behind the ears and I shall be asking lots and lots of questions.
:-D So excited!

I love the M6 toll! It's so smooth and new, and very underpopulated.

I was terrified the first time I towed too, but it didn't take long to realise that it wasn't so difficult.

I am in the process of discussing a swap with a lady who has a 1995 Elddis Jetstream, she wants £1500 or will swap for a Trailer tent, i have a tt which we have only used once and the prev owners used once a year for 6 years, they bought it from new (1996 model Trigano Cheverny), im just waiting for more pics from the seller but i am sooooo nervous about a possible swap as i have never towed a small caravan and this one looks quite long...will see how this pans out :-)

Ooh just do it! I was nearly ill yesterday when we were hooking up but it really was ok.
Have been sat in the caravan tonight with the lights on. So gutted it is going into storage at the weekend, I want to live in it :-D
