I think I found that I have a green Bradcot Princess awning. I measured the awning guide cord and it was exactly 8m. (or near as damn)
So am I correct in assuming this is a size 8 awning or 800mm version?
Have pics, but only on ground, looked on awning for ID but nothing, just read it is sometimes on the cord itself so will check again. Bought it in job lot and looking to sell on.

Awning sizes do vary between awning manufacturers so it's difficult to assume that's it's a size 8. Now that you have measured the awning bead you need to trace back to what the actual Bradcot size is. Basically, a Size 8 in a Bradcot may be different to a size 8 in say an Isabella or Dorema which could be a size 7 or a 9 for example. if you can't find out what the size is then contact Bradcot awnings on 01274-306811 and they should be able to tell you.

Yes, it's best to always state the awning length in centimetres as that way any errors are on behalf of the buyer then as they can check what size awning they require by measuring the caravan 'X to Y' guide or to check with their caravan handbook data whereas if you state a specific size it could be wrong so the buyer could in fact request a refund.
The correct way to check for the caravan awning length is shown in the link below.
