Yesterday on the A46 just outside Evesham I saw an Avondale caravan being towed and couldn't believe my eyes the left hand passenger side wheel of the caravan was not on the road by about 3/4". When I told my husband he said it would be a physical impossibility for this to happen because of the sheer weight of the caravan but I know what I saw the wheel was not turning and it was defiantly not on the road. could there be any way this could happen or do I need to book an eye test.

Unless it had had a wheel changed and was running with a trolley jack still underneath it I think your husband was right!

Possible on a twin axle. Had a puncture on a twin axle boat trailer one and no spare. Removed the flat and got to a tyre repair place without issue.

It wasn't a twin axle I still believe what I saw unless it was some sort of optical illusion PLEASE someone tell me it could be possible I really don't want to have tell him he was right lol

Maybe the axle was on a dolly so some theiving scum could nick it with a wheel lock attached

was it because the wheel wasn't rotating?

You can buy some wheel covers which don't rotate with the wheel, they have bearings in them and a weight to keep it static ?

It definitely wasn't rotating and I'm sure that it wasn't contacting with the road. OMG am I going mad lol.
