Hi,, just got are 1st van. But theres no lead for the water to connect from water to water pump. Are they all the same type to fit all vans or is there a type for this van I need. Thanks

There have been a few different pump fittings over the years, and while an owner of a similar van might post what his pump fitting is, that doesn't necessary confirm yours would be the same. A change during production, or an upgrade/repair by a previous user could easily have prompted the fitting of a replacement water inlet housing.

Can you post a photograph of the fitting into where your water should connect, then we can advise exactly what pump fitting you need.

Edited to post picture of water inlet, shown above.
This is the fitting as photographed by The Camper Man and emailed to me.

I'm sure this is an earlier Whale inlet. There were several that looked similar but took slightly different fitting pump connectors.

Anyone confirm the exact fitting type the Op needs?

Fleetwood did fit Whale submersible pumps back in 1996 so Paul's observation is probably correct.

Fleetwood 2001 had the type that had 2 little tabs that held the valve on as well. really need a picy of your own van.
