Hiya all....i bought a caravan yesterday and when i returned home i gave it a good clean inside & out, i am having great difficulty reaching the roof though even with ladders as im not great on them, is there a specific way to do this, or places that will do it at a reasonable price, i am rather skint now so cant be affording costly cleaners.....any advice would be much appreciated, thank you :-)

Would a telescopic brush be any good? I have one for sale, almost free to a good home. Need to find the brush though, it's not attached to the handle at the mo. takes hozelock fitting.

Hmm it's best to avoid using a pressure washer where possible. Especially so around window seals. I don't think you should leave you roof uncleaned but I wouldn't be overly concerned with giving it a perfect finish. Just get rid of as much dirt and grime as possible.
Stepladder (use a pair of old trainers on the ends if you are going to lean a ladder against the sides to stop it sliding and marking) and an ordinary mop (a cotton one) and wash and wax does it for me.

Thanks all but in the end i braved a ladder and blasted it with a power washer.....came up a treat xx
Eeek i hope i havent damaged it then with the washer, i was quite careful and didnt get too close....i then bought a vileda sponge mop with a slightly abrasive side and i washed it all over, including the bits of roof i could reach.. (roof was better than when i bought it after a pressure wash but just needed a little scrub too) its better now and almost sparkling, thank you all for your help and advice x
