I'm just having a look at them now - our toddler is an absolute menace for opening the caravan door, and now his bed is at that end of the caravan, I'm worried that he's going to make a break for it in the middle of the night.
The SamLock looks good, but how does it fare in reality, and where did you buy it from?
Yes ... though I don't want to scare the living daylights out of the rest of the campsite in the middle of the night - and I'm not sure my French is up to explaining that my son is a Harry Houdini double ;-)
I like the idea of the Samlock as I could use it to prevent escapes during the day too - meaning I could have a shower without having to worry that he'll do a runner just as the shampoo is on :-)
Hi there. I am not sure if i am too late on your post, but i have one of these and it is superb! Not only does it keep the wandering fingers of my 4 yr old son away from the lock, but also stops the dog from jumping up and opening the door. Its main benefit though, is that it is so easy to fit and very easy to remove with adult hands, so can be quickly removed if the need arose.
Trust me, you will not regret buying this lock cover.
Hi Jason this is a massive chance but do you still have it and would I be able to buy it from you given you posted in 2013 and assuming toddlers aren't toddlers lol
I'm afraid Jason has not posted since 2015 so you could be unlucky with a reply.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We had one of these but left it in the caravan when we sold it, absolutely brilliant bit of kit when you have a young child, think the Mrs got it from eBay or amazon
Hi, all...our 2 year old daughter escaped out the caravan last night, luckily she didn't get far. So this morning I got on the good old Internet to find a solution, and came across 'SamLock', then this thread. I just can't fine one on sale anywhere...does anyone have a link to a site that sells them please?
We used to loop a bicycle lock between the door handle & the side rail that you can haul yourself up with. That was because our old Motorhome habitation door just had a pathetic little key.
