Hi,

Can anybody help with stockists of roof covers for an Adria Altea 542 UK? We got back from holiday yesterday and during a heavy rain shower I noticed it was raining into our van's bathroom. I got on the roof and there is a square area perhaps 300mm square and a circular meshed recess which looks like a cover fits onto. This is above the bathroom by the way :)

Any advice appreciated

Hi, there are quite a number of these if you look on ebay. You need to get the exact measurement as there are many different sizes. Other than that, contact a caravan dealer who stocks Adrias and see if they have a spare.

meanwhile, pop an umbrella through the gap, open out, and tie the umbrella handle to the door or something until you can get a replacement.

You have to remember to close these and lock down before moving off anywhere, and that's probably the reason it's gone missing. There are no end of them in laybys up and down the country.

Hi,

Many thanks for the reply and ebay link. I'm not sure if the that type of rooflight will fit our van because if you were to stand in our bathroom and look up to the ceiling there is an approx 4 inch circular hole covered with steel gauze which just seems to be a vent. I'm going to our van this afternoon and will take a picture of the bathroom ceiling to show you.

I would suggest approaching Venture who are the oracles of anything Adria I believe and I am sure they will be able to assist

I know exactly the bit you mean and presume its the top domed cover that has broken or come off
